6/27/2023 0 Comments Croker Diaries by Michael Burton![]() ![]() The premise, the set up and even the who, what, where, when were if maybe a little predictable, still decent possible story. Two stars because somewhere in those 140 pages there were some good story bones. If you are looking for a good legal mystery, I recommend this book. ![]() ![]() There weren't any problems that made the story hard to understand but just a lot of either extra words or wrong words that were irritating. I really don't like it when they feel the need to hide information that would be good for someone else to know, especially in a legal sense. I liked that the dialogue among them brought out many of the story twists. It turned out that many of the characters were both! Ryan's friends and co-workers where terrific additions to this story. At times it was hard to remember who was a good guy and who was a bad guy. It was very fast paced so I had to focus on the story so I didn't miss anything. I really liked this well written legal mystery. He gets a case that nobody else will take and believes he will lose, especially when he sees he is trying it against a very successful lawyer. He doesn't get many cases so takes anything that comes along. Ryan Croker is a new lawyer who opens his own practice since most legal firms are laying off employees or closing their doors so he can't get a job anywhere. ![]()
